Took a second look after seeing the Goa family tour package mentioned alongside the itinerary. My first reaction was that the price might leave out something important, so I checked the hotel location and transfer details before deciding. For families, those little things add up. I compared it with a separate booking for South Goa and the difference was easier to understand than I expected. Palolem would suit a quieter stay, while Baga has a very different feel and budget. Summer can also be cheaper than peak winter, although the heat is obvious. I wouldn't call it a final answer, but it gave me a sensible comparison.
